Mendocino Art Center Show

I had a show featuring an installation of A Story of Self at the Mendocino Art Center in Mendocino County, California! The show ran from November 27th to December 30th 2018, and the reception was on December 8th.

It was an installation of paintings and words that walk you through the pages of the book, A Story of Self. A story about the twists and turns of life.

The narrative runs through six series of paintings that show how an external catalyst caused a shift in the work that became a journey to preserve the Self. This adventure of Self interweaves life and art, symbol and self.

During the course of these six series, my relationship to the work shifts from universal to personal and, then back again – from being a partner in exploration to a guide.

The Mendocino Art Center is an educational, exhibition, and resource center for the visual and performing arts, the center is located in the beautiful town of Mendocino. Come contemplate the Self looking out at the ocean from the windy cliffs.
